Hello
Could anyone help me identify a doll?
This doll was found in a locked cupboard during a factory clearout.
It is 15" tall and is made of rubber/soft plastic. The label on the box says it was made in the GDR, but there are no other markings on the doll itself I can see.
The doll has sleeping blue/green eyes and eyelashes and is coloured. Its clothes appear to be from the 70's.
I have done some research on the internet and think it could be a Furga Doll, I base this on the box the doll comes in.
I have taken some pictures of the doll which can be found below:

(this is the label on the box)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Best Regards

Hi!
I know your doll very well. Well, not this particular doll, but many others of her kind. I grew up in USSR in 70th. At that time every girl's wildest dream was to own a German doll. Your doll made in East Germany in 70th. Her label says: "1 piece. Made in German Democratic Republic". The number is possible model number. Some other things is easy to identify: for instance her shoes and plastic ties from the box. It is unforgettable feeling when you open a box with a new doll in it and untie her from this plastic strings
By the way: did she has any additions in the box (jacket, comb, braslet)? This dolls usually have additions.
I still keep two of mine. One is going to be 37 this year
PS: This dolls were very similar for Furga dolls. However, Furga always have letters "FURGA" on the back of their necks.
Best regards
Thank you for this information Feyniel.
Sadly, the doll did not come with any additions.
If it is not a Furga doll, do you know who the manufacturer is out of curiosity?
Wish your doll a happy birthday

Hi!
Alas, I have no idea. It is very possible that in that time there was just one toy factory in the whole East Germany. So they were making everything -- from dolls to baby rattles. You may try the soles of her feet or the soles of her shoes -- they may have some info. Is there anything on the box?
Best regards
