| These dolls plus 6 that are not pictured were Willed to me several years ago. Family lore suggests that a Cousin who bought toys in Europe for the T. Eaton Company, here in Canada, brought these dolls back from his travels. I suspect we are talking about the 30's, in fact it is said that he was credited with introducing the Eaton's Beauty doll to Canada, if that helps narrow down a time frame for his travels. My interest would be to learn if these dolls are of "significant value" or perhaps just "charming value"? Two carry hand written tags with the words "100 years old" and one that says "300 years old", (not pictured). |
