One of our readers is seeking information about some very old wooden dolls that he has:

Quote
These dolls plus 6 that are not
pictured were Willed to me several years ago. Family lore suggests
that a Cousin who bought toys in Europe for the T. Eaton Company,
here in Canada, brought these dolls back from his travels.  I suspect
we are talking about the 30's, in fact it is said that he was credited
with introducing the Eaton's Beauty doll to Canada, if that helps narrow
down a time frame for his travels.
My interest would be to learn if these dolls are of "significant value"
or perhaps just "charming value"?  Two carry hand written tags with
the words "100 years old" and one that says "300 years old", (not pictured).

If you can supply any information about these dolls, please post it here, or contact the owner.
